A Glimpse Was All I Needed

A glimpse was all I needed.
That's all it took for me to see,
In eyes a brighter blue than sea,
That you were nothing ordinary,
You were in fact extraordinary.

A glimpse was all I needed.
My breath was then stolen,
By the blinding of hair golden,
And a smile that shined so bright,
That Sun ended my lonely night.

A glimpse was all I needed.
Loneliness then began a descent,
Carefree under a moonlit crescent,
She danced and I felt love within,
Childlike glee was felt once again.

A glimpse was all I needed.
My heartbeat began to quicken,
With Cupid's arrow I was stricken,
With thoughts of you I am consumed,
For only you my love has bloomed.
